OVERVIEW OF ROME
A panoramic tour that allows you to have a first contact with the city. You can see the Vatican with St. Peter’s Square and the façade of the Basilica, the Tiber, the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, the Campidoglio, Piazza Navona.

THE VATICAN
Tour of the square and Basilica of San Pietro with its interiors, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, where the cardinals gather in conclave to elect each new Pope. The chapel owes its name to Pope Sixtus IV, who made it build from 1477 to 1483. Its decorations were made by some of the greatest artists of the Renaissance, such as Michelangelo, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Pinturicchio.

BAROQUE ROME
Walk to discover the monuments and baroque squares in the city center: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza del Parlamento, Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, immortalized in Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita”. He asked Anita Ekberg to immerse herself with an evening dress and the scene remains one of the most famous in the history of cinema.

ANCIENT ROME
Walk tour to discover the monuments of the Roman era: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine. The Colosseum is one of the largest buildings of the Roman era. It is located in the center of Rome and is the most visited monument of the city.

CHRISTIAN ROME
Visit the Catacombs, of San Callisto or Santa Domitilla (depending on the day of the visit), the underground tombs of the first Christians, dating back to the 2nd century. Continuation of the visit with San Giovanni in Laterano: its famous ceiling, the Corsini chapel, the cloister, the baptistery.

TIVOLI
Excursion to Tivoli, on the hills surrounding Rome. Tour of the Este family palace and the beautiful gardens, well known for its artistic wonders.

LAST DAY - DEPARTURE

Breakfast. Private transfer to the airport and departure.
